In an effort to be good stewards of time, money, and resources, we are printing "The Good News" newsletter four times during the year to cover special activities happening during the Fall, Advent/Christmas, Lenten/Easter, and Summer.  In addition, we will:

- Publish the newsletter online for those who use the Internet
- Make hard copies available at church for those who wish to pick up a copy
- Email members and friends when the newsletter is published or updated online
- Hand deliver hard copies to shut-ins without internet access
- Mail newsletters to those who request us to do so

If you wish to be notified by e-mail each time the newsletter is updated, e-mail

Fall 2011

Here are some upcoming events to keep in mind as we move from summer into fall!

June 26th - First Baptist Church in Essex celebrated its 200th Anniversary!  But the celebration continues...

Sunday, September 4th - Fall back into our regular worship time of 10:00.

Sunday, September 11th - Annual Church Picnic and Picture Day.  Join us for an afternoon picnic at the Friday's home.  Boating, games, food, fellowship and more!

Saturday, September 24th - Mission Works New England.  If you are interested in attending the American Baptist Mission Conference in Fitchburg, MA, please let Pastor Crane know.

Please welcome our childcare provider, Anne Marie Stebbins.  She will be in the nursery between 9:50-11:15 every Sunday along with our volunteer staff.  She is both CPR and First Aid certified (including infant CPR).
