45 MPH - 45 minutes of Music, Prayer, and Hope
Our prayer is that the worship experience will be more than just a one night stand. We hope it will invoke new insights, questions, thoughts, reflections, ideas, etc., and open your heart and mind to God throughout the week.
This page was designed to give you a flavor of our evening worship service. Initially, we thought we would be able to update it every week, but alas, we weren't able to do this on a regular basis. So, please consider these entries as samples of what happens on a Sunday night!
You are welcome to add your reflections and thoughts in a blog format.
And remember, you are always welcome to share your thoughts, struggles, experiences, reflections, etc., during the next worship experience.

Mary and Martha - 7/26/2009 Are you more of a Mary or a Martha?
Luke 10:38-42
As they continued their travel, Jesus entered a village. A woman by the name of Martha welcomed him and made him feel quite at home. She had a sister, Mary, who sat before the Master, hanging on every word he said. But Martha was pulled away by all she had to do in the kitchen. Later, she stepped in, interrupting them. "Master, don't you care that my sister has abandoned the kitchen to me? Tell her to lend me a hand.
The Master said, "Martha, dear Martha, you're fussing far too much and getting yourself worked up over nothing. One thing only is essential, and Mary has chosen it—it's the main course, and won't be taken from her."
How do we create a Mary heart in a Martha world?
